Sending positive thoughts out to your friend

My mum passed away with it 27 years ago but all these years on, medical advances have come a long way which is positive.

I have a friend who has lived with it for 8 years now, he has been in remission for most of that time but still has to be checked every 6 months to a year (not sure which) and leads a very full life.

I hope your friend can do as he has, beat the blooming thing into a corner :o))
