All i'll say is we all had to start somewhere once and we have all needed help. So whats wrong with passing on help to others if you now know you can? |

Ive got a relative who put his girlfriend and child on a boat to Oz, he jumped ship and sailed off to Us with another woman ! Its well documented, but the Ozzie side refuse to believe they are from illigitimate stock. They seem to think because their grandfather has 2 surnames he must be very posh! |

If there are no matches, then how did they get in touch with you.? Have you any reason to think someone is trying to contact you that you don't want to. Usually I will happily show someone my tree, while I have noticed that some are reluctant even though there are matches. I think maybe some people are just over cautious. Sue |

Lindsey, lol that sounds like my husbands Australian convict. He was sent over in the 1850s, and remarried. Ive been in touch with some of his ancestors over there but they totally deny he could have been a criminal. Even though his new wife had such an unusual name we all know it's the right people! |
