My son (in his twenties) lives on his own and is living on junk food. He won't cook anything that isn't easy or takes more than about 15 minutes
I've given him all the suggestions I can think of - any you'd like to share, that I can pass on please

Pasta is really easy and quick to do................fry some mince, onions and chopped mushrooms or peppers etc add a jar of sauce and cook that while the pasta is cooking.

Isnt it funny how boys seem to exist on the weirdest of foods, mine went through the cheese only and eggs only diets for ages, introducing fruit was a nightmare, yet nevertheless they seem to survive and grow into fit healthy men !

Lindsey, he rang the other day and was in the process of frying sausages that he'd taken straight from the freezer.
Had to text him the following day to make sure there was no projectile vomiting involved!

jenny my son now 27 picks out mushrooms and onions from dishes. Only eats carrots - if it is green no way!!

Do they ever get better - not in my experience.

Stir fried chicken (any meat or fish works) and noodles!!

Brown the chicken, add stir fry veg, add sauce of choice!!

Whilst doing that boil the noodles for about 4 minutes!

All over and ready to eat in less than 10 mins! Healthy too!

Trust me I don't cook anything else...... I only have a kitchen because it came with the house!!

Thanks Lisa - love it pink about the kitchen
My sons kitchen was in a real state when he moved in so we helped him get one put in complete with breakfast bar.
He apparently said to the next door neighbour "I've got a breakfast bar, no idea why cos I don't eat breakfast"!

Oh, Jenny, I remember my flatmates at uni doing that - they put frozen hotdogs in the frying pan, if I remember correctly. I couldn't believe it - I don't know whether they would have cooked through properly or not, but I certainly wouldn't have eaten them.

If hes got a microwave, do a jacket potato-- takes about 4-8 mins depending on wattage & size of potato.

Open up a tin of baked beans & top with grated cheese.

Well written with bloke humour, like 'Crack 2 eggs into the pan. Remove egg-shell from pan.' :-)

No bloke wanting to learn to cook should be without this masterpiece. Bought for me as a joke but it's an indispensable piece of kitchen equipment for anyone (male or female) wanting to make tasty food without being patronised by recipe writers who assume you know what they're talking about. Now there's no excuse for not being able to cook.
