hi Romany, unfortunately the McDs in the Western world are probably the dirtiest.
We are quite lucky really as the kids rarely if ever ask for it,and Pete and I never eat it so its probably a twice a year event but after surfs story it will be a never again.... yuk yuk yuk.

Are u sure thats not a joke tho Surfmonkey? Ive heard that before but it was definately a wind-up.
Tania, the toilets in the city centre Coventry McCraps are not clean. One child had a birthday party there and found a used syringe. The staff said they couldnt be accountable for heroin users shooting up in their restaurant!!

Lets face it though, they scrape the bottom of the barrell for staff, usually hire kids and pay people peanuts so mistakes are fairly likely.
I rarely visit Mcds but make it a rule to check all the orders before I pull out of the drivethrough.
I must say though when you are travelling Mcds can sometimes be the golden arches of hope LOL with clean toilets and standard food

As an American, I tasted a Wimpy's burger a long time ago in London and it was HORRIBLE.
I don't eat MacDonalds food but they now have decent coffee. They also have something called a snack wrap that's not bad so I guess I DO eat their "food." There's nothing else I would get though.

For us Brits, Mc Donalds arrival in the country was welcomed with open arms we had suffered years of a chain called Wimpey who claimed ''the best burger under the bun'' fgs wouldnt have wanted to taste the worst. I guess with Manky D's you do get the same qaulity of food and service each time...unfortunately is dire

We have a rival chain in the town called Uncle Sam's. They are just as busy as McD's, but much tastier burgers. The bun is wholemeal, burger is flame grilled and not greasy, and they put fresh salad in it.
They get my business every time.

Our local Manky D's runs out of coffee at frequent intervals and has queues longer than the post office on pension day. Fast food you are having a laugh

I agree with Dr Dude, they do a good latte. I visit various McD's on a morning through the drive-ins just for a latte.
Every time I get asked "...do you want MILK and sugar with that ?" doh!

I went 4 years ago to Mc's in Ayia Napa--ate a 'McGreek' ,am obviously not in a hurry to return--but they do a roaring trade winter and summer!

OH

OH Report 5 Apr 2008 16:00

that's what I thought as well, but apparently they don't sell tomato sauce at Mc's.

Same thing with the Hot and Spicey at KFC,
here in OZ only selected shops on the coast have hot and spicey all the time, and the one's out bush where I am, don't always get it. They have deviled wings, done the hot and spicey way, I asked the girl "Have you got hot and spicey chicken?"
she replied, "What's that?"

OH

OH Report 5 Apr 2008 15:44

sweet chilly, BBQ, mustard, Ketchup,
I asked, you got tomato sause? she said, "No"
