Sorry I haven't replied before but been out all day.

Dearest Hayley...there is no way I would mention your hissy fits in the same sentence as NC. I always find yours so refined with never any hint of vulgarity:))

Ann... I love your story and wish I could have been there to see the little Madam's face:)

On the whole I must admit I feel sorry for NC.
It must be awful to be so full of anger. She can't have much joy in her life.

after her last brush with the law when she injured her maid by throwing a mobile phone at her she was given community service, cleaning loos etc. and sent to anger management classes - none of it worked obviously

we have a local TV weather forecaster in this area who had the habit of riding on trains without paying - when asked to produce her ticket on a train my son was driving she said to the ticket collector "Don't you realise who I am?" I do he said, you're the chedeky cow who thinks she can travel free of charge, and chucked her off at the next stop!!!!

Yes Lindsey, you may be right but it will not bother her.
She has all the money she needs to keep her *nipped and tucked* and we still look after all the has beens.
They are still followed around by cameras..
I have always said, and I do believe it.... if the cameramen did not stand for hours
in all sorts of weather... just on the off chance of snapping them... they may all become *humble*.
Why don't they try it for a week?

Hayley.... nice one girl.... keep the doors open for OUR very necessary Hissy fits... ;-0)

I think people who are so called celebrities start out being like everyone else, but then they are surrounded by fans and start believing they are special.......it doesn't help that the papers say they are Divas......which they interpret to be perfect b**ches to everyone around them.....

The trouble is that those girls who admire them, think this is the way to behave and get noticed, whereas in real life you would keep a million miles away from someone who behaved in such a way.....

Naomi Campbell is not above the law, and I think that if she has spat at a Policeman, she should get what she deserves......bring her down to earth a bit......

Deanna

Deanna Report 4 Apr 2008 12:07

The celebrities of today DO think they are more important than we are..... and the reason is?

WE TELL THEM THEY ARE!

They are paid revolting wages for jobs which in the main do not give anything to the masses,,, and if they do commit a crime, we are so darned understanding of them, that they get away with unbelievable sentences!

As long as we sit there admiring them , they will sit there LAUGHING AT US!

True, Jean. When we went to South Africa seven years ago, our cases got lost - my sister's never left Manchester (it turned out) but we didn't realise till Johannesburg then we spent so long looking for them that we nearly missed our next flight and by the time we got to Durban, nobody's cases were there.

All we could do (although my aunty was all set to sue the airline!) was wait for the next flight, which had our cases on. My sister's turned up the next day so we had to go and come back to the airport, I think.

Kay???? Report 4 Apr 2008 10:45

NC.behaviour in recent times has been in very bad taste,,,,,,this is someone who relies on public acceptance,so she should be conducting herself in a more adult way ,not a disgusting public performance.
If that all it was done for ,publicity then its in very bad taste,,,,,,,,

lol

Disgraceful!

But no worse than many others that never make the news. When I worked in an airport, had to sling several people a week for similar behaviour.

But when a celebrity does it, it hits the headlines. They should know better, but any publicity is good publicity, isn't it! It will appeal to a certain mentality who will copy it.
