Caz

My aunt used to live in Carlise and if it was light in a morning down here she would get all confused over what time it was and the same at night when it was darker here

Thats the glorious day gone :( My solar lights have come on (with renewed vigour) in the garden and its started to get chilly.

I went to see if the heating was on and OH suggested maybe I shut the patio doors ive had open all day!

Wasnt it a lovely spring day.

It is lovely for the children to be able to play out isn't it?

But ME.... I love the dark evenings... I always felt so secure as a child.... in the winged armchair with my books and the curtains drawn.... some of my happiest memories.

Deanna I must admit I like the dark nights getting all snug in front of the fire..............But also enjoy the light nights mainly for the kids and the peace and quiet it brings to the house lol

Son in shower now and he is black from playing in the woods behind our house, his trainers are caked in it ............... but it's better than him sitting in the house all day
