Personally I hope they are not thinking complaints mean we dont get to see anymore births.

No point having a webcam is that is the case.

Maybe more will be born at the weekend. I will be around for the majority of it so lets hope there will be more.

Wellwhen they took all the sheep out, knew something funny was going on.

But I thought they might have brought some sheep back that they had taken out.

These sheep keep playing musical straw or head butt me and I head butt you next.

By the way Jenny have got on the website you gave about all the webcams.

Been to Dublin tonight and not moved out of my chair.

Dawnie

Hope we do find out about Mrs Darkwood.

No famer would have let a sheep walk round on that leg without getting a vet to have a look at herespecially with the weight they are carrying around.

Jenny you have been a busy bee doing your tree and multitasking.

I have to flower shopping tomorrow but maybe late morning as if it's snowing here me not going out at all.

Fi don't know about these sheep birting at the weekend, could be longer than that as the rams can only service so many ewes at a time.

Sue In Yorkshire. Report 27 Mar 2008 23:15

Jenny for Yorkshire and North East snow is forecast,

Claire it's very rare the farmer uses artificial inseminationon Sheep.

That's mainly on cows and horses.

Ok I have had this idea.

The one site/thread we are all concentrating on is this one Genes/Lambs.

Therefore I was thinking maybe we should set up a rota to report on the Lambs.

As we can see the chicks are regular movers and have a small space whereas the sheep in LambCam (note they changed their spellings too) are many and dont produce for hours (although on occasions this could change).

So how about a rota for us to keep an eye on all cams (different times for each) and we can all keep the Genes thread open to ensure we catch the cam movement.

What do you think?

Has anyone heard of Richmond Park in SW London/Surrey

 Sue In Yorkshire.

Sue In Yorkshire. Report 27 Mar 2008 23:25

Yes but some farmers call it different things as we have loads of really old farmers up here.

1 farmer is 96 and still going strong.
