YES! :-) I got a really sweet deal this time LOL.

Mum came home and proudly gave me a 3 box of cream eggs. I said I hadn't expected one (they know about the diet) and she hmmphd so I said I'd check out the cals and maybe have one a week. When I came down later she was eating one.

The next day in her guilt she presented me with a big thorntons one to replace it. Now that seems like a good trade to me LOL.

I've bought mum an egg and dad a dark choc lindt bunny as the dark choc is better for diabetics apparently. As the bunnies were 2 for £5 I also bought myself a white one :-)

Hi Sue, I dont think I dare ask for anything. Got my 'treat' last Saturday.
'He who has to be obeyed' is 50 in May and said we could go away for a few days to celebrate. Little did I expect a weeks Med Cruise.

No, I cannot believe it either.

We have a social club where I work, and I got a free easter egg, a chocolate orange one...so it's sitting in my cupboard waiting for me to attack it...as my son hasn't been to visit me and claim it as his when he roots through the cupboards as he usually does.

My late Hubby always bought me a Terry's Chocolate Orange every Easter for 13yrs. Dont get them now, but still think of him every Easter morning.
Luckily I am not a big chocolate lover. But I do find if I do indulge, my joint trouble worsens. So peeps beware, there could be a link.

Jenny xx

Med cruise sounds wonderful, but surely you could get an egg for yourself when you do the family shop....

Well I am glad to hear that people are treating themselves..

Al what book have you bought as I love reading and I must buy myself a book once every 2 weeks.

Sue, she works in Wilkinsons who apparently had them in cheaper than thorntons and she got staff discount. Since she's knackered from looking after me and dad, dunno how well she'd take to being shared LOL. I will however cyber send you one of the choccies LOL.

Sue In Yorkshire. Report 22 Mar 2008 17:29

Al

Always read true crime...also the true stories about children.

At the moment I have just bought Colin Fry's Secrets from the Afterlife and Tony Stockwell's Psychic Case Files.

Both really interesting reads.

Can't be doing with fiction.
