I should have been born in Camberwell to Scottish and N.Irish parents.....but at that time the London hospitals were full of returning soldiers and SELondon maternity was evacuated up to Leicester..... |

Oh mother was a Londoner but he hates the place,!so does his cousin and would never go back after 40years in OZ although he still owns property there,he hates it when he does have to come over,he said the Londoners are not what he remembers them as,everyones a stranger, |

I was born in Brixton and spent most of my childhood in Deptford where my granparents lived (it has all changed now, ie the house where she lived has gone). My Dad was a south Londoner through and through. |
