Oh for goodness sake, it's only an animal!
They don't know about walls and other boundaries, they just go where they like.

Try the more natural methods - PLEASE!

I know it's not nice to have them in your garden if you are not a cat owner/lover- but use smells/water sprays - don't use things that are harmful to them, the environment and any children etc

Talking of those sonic cat repellents - my next door neighbour bought one to stop the neighbourhood cats using his front garden as a toilet. It worked - except for our elderly cat, Misty. When neighbour was telling us, he wondered why we laughed. Misty was deaf so couldn't hear the thing. He was happy - he had the "toilet" all to himself because the other cats couldn't stand the noise! LOL

The other thing about the sonic repellants - my grandaughter (who has recurrent ear infections and has grommets fitted) cried when she walked past next door because the noise hurt her ears so much. I couldn't hear it at all, but other children said they could although it didn't hurt their ears.

I was looking at one of the electronic repellents at B&Q the other day. It was £20. I am thinking of getting one myself as i am fed up of the bloomin cats.

Sprinkle curry powder near your plants. This will also work on bin bags.

you can get these electronic things that send out a noise when a cat enters the area, expensive though I think. My uncle paid £50 for his.

Mothball's and bleach...do you want to poison them or children?
Please read about it before you decide to use it.

I dont like cat crap in my garden either but I have grandchildren and I dont murder animals.

Jeyes fluid and moth balls are highly toxic to cats.. even if you don't like cats, it is a truly horrible way for them to die/ suffer!!

The *get off my garden* is good.. but does need to be topped up every so often, especially after heavy rain... turning the hose or spraying them does work.. but you need to catch them in the act, so to speak. Do it often enough and they eventually get the message.

That's good Kitty......I used to use that on the stable floor......kept it so clean and I loved the smell.....

Gardeners also use Jeyes fluid so it should be plant friendly.....

They hate the smell of Jeyes fluid too.........we cleaned the greenhouse recently and the cats that usually sit on a nearby wall ran off!

My cat hates the smell of bleach.....I would say try that, but I don't know what damage it does to plant life.....

Whatever you do - don't put bark in your garden!!!
I have a bit where nothing grows (roots of pine trees and solid chalk), so I put bark down - my cats love it!! It's like an enormous cat litter tray, Still, it stops them pooing in other peoples gardens :o)

Citrus/citronella oil may work.
