My cat hates the smell of bleach.....I would say try that, but I don't know what damage it does to plant life..... |

They hate the smell of Jeyes fluid too.........we cleaned the greenhouse recently and the cats that usually sit on a nearby wall ran off! |

Jeyes fluid and moth balls are highly toxic to cats.. even if you don't like cats, it is a truly horrible way for them to die/ suffer!! |

you can get these electronic things that send out a noise when a cat enters the area, expensive though I think. My uncle paid £50 for his. |

Would the cats eat the mothballs then? |

Sprinkle curry powder near your plants. This will also work on bin bags. |

I was looking at one of the electronic repellents at B&Q the other day. It was £20. I am thinking of getting one myself as i am fed up of the bloomin cats. |

Talking of those sonic cat repellents - my next door neighbour bought one to stop the neighbourhood cats using his front garden as a toilet. It worked - except for our elderly cat, Misty. When neighbour was telling us, he wondered why we laughed. Misty was deaf so couldn't hear the thing. He was happy - he had the "toilet" all to himself because the other cats couldn't stand the noise! LOL |

Did they kill them all or did they move on Mac? Birds will move away and feed elsewhere if an area is thought to be unsafe. |

Exactly Teresa. And I'm afraid, that is the way nature works sometimes. |
