	Looks like Mum will be coming home this afternoon. She had a reasonable night, and the doctor has been round and said that he is pleased with the way the op went. Mum has managed to eat some porridge this morning, and providing she can eat something at lunch time, she will be allowed home. My sister lives with her, and has taken time off work to look after her this week. Such a relief to think that it's over, and Mum can start to get stronger again. PP xx

	Glad to report that Mum's op seems to have gone well. I have spoken very briefly to her on the bedside phone which was a relief. My sister works at the hospital, and she says that Mum is very groggy which is to be expected, and sore. We hope that she will come home tomorrow all being well. Thanks so much for your support. 	Mum went to theatre about 12.30, and the op will take about 2 hours. Just got to wait now. I'm sure she will be fine, but it diesn't stop the worrying. PP xx
