Looks like Mum will be coming home this afternoon. She had a reasonable night, and the doctor has been round and said that he is pleased with the way the op went. Mum has managed to eat some porridge this morning, and providing she can eat something at lunch time, she will be allowed home. My sister lives with her, and has taken time off work to look after her this week. Such a relief to think that it's over, and Mum can start to get stronger again. |
