Yes Ive had psoriasis for nearly 19 years now sadly, it does sound like you have it too but best get checked out by your doctor.

T Gel dont normally get rid of it you will need some other form of treatment to go with it and there are absolutely loads so it will probably be a case of trial and error with your doctor till you find one that suits you. I use donovex scalp solution which does help just takes a while for it to clear up totally.

If you have it elsewhere on your body silkis is a good ointment as it is very gentle so can use as much as a tube a day if need be.

Make sure you dont used steriod based treatments which they sometimes give you for eczema and dermatitus as with psoriasis it tends to have a rebound effect once you stop using it.

I remember when i first started getting it, I thought I had picked up some really manky disease and had never heard of psoriasis it took me a while to pluck up the courage to go.

Good luck hun xxx

Can I suggest you type in psoriasis and lush into the search box? You will see some info on there about Dream Cream from Lush which I know people use on psiorasis. Good luck.

Glad the olive oil soothed your head a bit. If you put oil on you shouldn't wet the hair before shampooing, just put the shampoo into your hand, and spread it over hair gently massaging in before using any water at all, slowly use warm water to make more lather and then rinse off, should be ok then.

I just had my hair chopped nice and short, so much easier to look after and much less to reach to, when I colour it later in the week.

liz, thanks for that "Top tip". I did it again last night (THE OLIVE OIL!!!) and the lumps have gone! I will try the shampoo on dry hair tomoz as it does take time to get oil out.My roots need doing too and i was a bit worried that bleach would agrivate it, but i will go for it as it makes me feel better.Take care, sue xxx
