Tonight programme on now.

All about children seeing their parents drink too much, even at home, drinking alone. Is this a contributory factor to the binge drinking that goes on with teenagers now, and which is helping to cause the death of so many youngsters,(as in the recent drownings of young men) or causing them health problems for the rest of their lives?

I have been drinking to much for a while now

BUT

Thanks to Jackie helping me through it I am cutting right down.

I dont want to give up completely so I cant drink at all but enough so I can enjoy a nice pint or a glass of wine without having the urge to down loads of it.

They do drink rather a lot though without realising it.
Me am nearly teetotal. so no probs there.

I have just watched the program too Liz. I realised I was drinking far to much a few months ago and luckily have been able to cut down easier than I thought. I still have a drink but limit myself to 3 glasses of wine three nights a week. Tonight is my night without.
Ok, I do go to bed a lot earlier the nights that I dont have a drink, and find it very hard to get off to sleep, and wake after only 4-5 hours sleep. But I am a lot happier person and I am getting there slowly but surely.
