Which Famous people have you met or seen in passing? Not people you've paid money to see in concert or such like.
I've met Cherie Blair and Judith Chalmers
I've seen Prince Charles go past in a car (when I was 9)
I've walked past Stephen Hendry
And I may have seen the back of Rik Mayall's head, Ex Husband swore it was him but I didn't see til we were past. lol
Not exactly Who's who.
Oh and also Gazza when he lived in our town for a while, he used to drink in a pub ran by a lad I went to school with.

I saw Gary Lineker's dad's fruit and veg stall on Leicester market while I was at uni.

Also I've seen Vicky Entwistle (Janice Battersby) shopping in our local Booths when I was working there in summer 2006. Felt a bit sorry for her because you could hear everyone whispering, "Is that Janice Battersby?".

And Claire from Coronation Street was in this weeks' local paper (I think she lives near here). So, only one, really - as far as I can remember.

I breifly loaned a twenty pound note to Tim Woodward (son of Edward) once.
And I got drunk with the cast of Rocky Horror.
The first politician I ever interviewed was Tony Benn and that was a real honour.

I used to do background artist work and met many famous actors and actresses such as:

Sean Connery, Madonna, Jennifer Ehle, Warren Mitchell, Wendy Craig, Barbara Windsor, Mr Darcy (His name has gone right out of my head), John Thaw to name a few. My favourite was always John Thaw, a really lovely man.

Prince Andrew (I had to do some work at an MoD establishment), and David Trimble (Northern Ireland minister.
