If the snoring is really bad and every night it would be wise to consult your GP!

all these descriptions of snorers is absolutely hysterical - can't stop laughing - I must say I like Catherine's blunt instrument cure best so far!!

I use an anti snore nose ring which is quite cheap. I get a pack of two from Kleenezee. Works by pressing on certain nerves in the nose, Ring is worn in the nostrils, more of a U shaped thing than a ring really. It also helps to stop me waking up at night because I am unable to breath... Jean

Snorer the destroyer

That's my Hubby. he snores, and then destroys any hope of sleep I may have.

Gawd knows how many decibels his drones go up to, but its a living hell.

We've tried the breathe right nose strips...they fall off...& dont work. The damage has already been done, his soft palate must resemble a trampoline by now that no nose wotsits will cure.

Its not even the fact that he snores, one drone every two seconds..its the sudden earth shattering snort which awakens me like a shot from a pistol.

Laying on his back, side or head doesnt make a difference. The racket goes on.
Heaven help me if he eats late, a heavy meal, or an alcoholic drink will relax him further, leading to more blitzing of my zzzz's.

I have a stash of ear plugs, foam ones which mould into your lugholes. They hardly make a difference. I tend to buy a job lot from eBay. convincing myself they work is better than nothing.

Why does the Black widow spider kill her mate after mating ??

To stop the snoring before it starts...

She must be a very clever spider

I suffered OH's snoring for years, on family get-togethers sharing house with lots of relatives they all said to me how do you put up with it. I told them I just go to bed before OH and get to sleep well before him! Also niece of 3 years woke up crying saying there was a lion in the house - yes that was him! 4 years ago HE went out and got a new bed and moved into the spare bedroom because I had started snoring - would you believe !! I was livid at the time but honestly the best move ever its sheer bliss, but I do miss the warmth next door to me in the winter!

I snore.... in fact, as a snorer, I would rate myself in the Olympic medal category... or at least hubby would, lol... he says though that if I have had a restless night I snore more... once I am in deep sleep I barely even breathe.... I did wonder if that was cos he'd shoved a pillow over my face, but he says not!!

I am going to have a look at this antisnor, as well!!

Love

thank goodness you explained what to do with that ring Kitty - all sortsof things were going through my mind I must say. I snore badly only my dear OH never ever mentioned it to me. However, on holiday with my pal I drive her mad and bought some of those antisnore strips in Cyprus. They make you brathe more easily but didn't stop the snoring - wuld have been better had I bought my pal earplugs. I shall be googling for this antisnore ring!!
