Penny, Tinky has not put up new thread yet, we are hoping she is not ill.

I don't get weighed until Monday but as I have a little celebrating this weekend I don't hold out much hope :-)

knew I would of put on this week and I did only a 1lb but thats enough will have to be mega good this week, mind you finding it really hard to move at moment which doesnt help

Got weighed this evening.

I lost 1/2 lb

Which now means since the summer I have lost 30 lbs :-)))

My eldest keeps lifting my jumper up and going "look Mum, you've got a waist" LOL.

I forgot to add on friday was so busy I hadnt lost in a few weeks so was chuffed friday when I lost 5 1/2 lbs

so all in all ive lost 1 st 2 lbs so far!!

Just a little nudge to start the week & some little hints for low GI foods

Apples, cherries, grapefruit, grapes, pear, plum, orange, strawberries, peaches.

Green vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage, mushrooms, onions, peppers and lettuce.

Pulses such as lentils, chickpeas and beans.

Sweet potato, rye bread, vermicelli and linguine pasta, noodles, brown basmati rice, barley.

All bran, muesli.

Crisps, plain, milk and white chocolate.

Low fat yoghurt, milk, custard.

I watch my calories per day. Not sure I'd recommend it for people who don't have a knowledge of nutrition though.

Several people seem to be following Slimming Worlds and finding it good.

At the weekly class there is an exercise class - some don't stay fop the exercise & some use chairs & some do the exercises.

She does a lot of recipe books too.

Just take whatever you do at your own pace.
