Gerri, so sorry I didn't post earlier, don't know how I missed seeing the good news! Many congratulations and best wishes to Charlie and all his family, hope he has a long, happy and healthy life.

I bet poor Roxy is shattered but with all those mums, grans and great grans I am sure she will get lots of help and will have to book an appointment with her little fella to see him at all lol

There's me still waiting to be a grandma, lol, and you are younger than me and generations ahead, tain't fair lol !

Just you take care, driving and trying to take photos indeed, you stay in one piece, you hear?

Just got in from work and §till bubbling lol

He was 6lb 10oz. Poor Roxy had quite a few stitches and looks knackered. She's only pint size....BUT I LOVES HER TO BITS! lol

I have a photo of him when only a couple of mins old. Daughter sent it to my mobile.

He looks like he knows it all .....and some! lol

Since seeing his pic i have named him 'Cheeky Charlie'

Cant wait to get me mits on him......count his fingers n toes and bite his bum! lol

You know what?......

I have seen dozens of threads like this in the past and usually add my bit to them but untill now havent realised just how special it is to have all your support.

You dont know me from Adam and yet i know your all there for me and mine :-))

Aint life great!

Best get myself to bed now so i will be ready to meet my cheeky chappie Charlie in the morning.....

PS...Did you see the sunset tonight?....I was driving down the M4 to Bath and was trying to take photo's of it on my mobile lol....it was wonderfull!!!!!

At last! He's arrived :-))))

3.30pm

Was a bit hectic because he wouldnt come out and his heart rate plummeted fast!

They rushed her to the theatre but attatched a cap thing on his little head and pulled! (ouch!)

My Daughter still hasnt seen him yet and is waiting in the corridor with Roxys Mum and 2 nans.

I shall go see him tomorrow :-)))

Will put birth weight on here when i know.

Any news yet? How exciting you must be nervous as anything. I'm sure all will turn out ok, Charlie's just hanging in there a bit. Tis a little cold out so can't blame him.

At 7am she was only 4 cm :-(

10am she was 6cm :-(

She's had an epidooodle (epidrural lol) now and they have put her on a drip :-(

Wish i could have him for her!

We havent got any nails left to chew! Been up most of the night.

Fingers n toes crossed that the drip speeds things up.

Poor Roxy has been crying all morning in case the epidooodle runs out bless her :-(

As for my name...I think i'll stick with Nanny G :-))
...or i could be GGG..Great Gran Gerri lol
