Decided to get up again after o.h. went to work, lol

I also have some phone numbers in my mobile that I got at that time, I tried to ring him Thusday afternoon and got no reply on both numbers, but will try again.
He was never that good looking and wasn't very tall, but then neither was I when I left school, I grew another 6" in height between the age of 16 and 18 so he will be in for a shock if he stayed the same height lol
I have to say I am intrigued as to why he is suddenly so enthusiastic about meeting, but am not dreaming any wild dreams here. The last thing I want or need at the mo is any romantic entanglements - have enough hassle to sort out but just to meet up with him and chat would be nice. I have checked him out on 192.com too and there are several with his name altho it isn't a really common one - all I know is he will be coming from London and that is where one of his offices is, the other is further out of London.
Will keep you all posted, but I don't think we will be meeting just yet! He doesn't open up at all when we mail each other.

I ain't been nowhere except bed, on my own, you daft lot! It could be ages till we meet. He sent me an email this morning saying he would be here by 2pm so to call him on his mobile and it isn't the number I had found for his business so must be his private mobile. Of course, at 2pm I was still in the land of nod and wouldn't have gone today as o.h. at home and would have asked where I was off to!
Might give him a call tomorrow and chat but won't be meeting him this visit.
I don't think he has any ulterior motives in making contact, and certainly won't be expecting or getting any oats lol

Hi Liz, I'm sure when you eventually meet up you have a great time the pair of you.

Just be yourself, relax and enjoy catching up. He obviously has fond memories of your friendship and is just as curious as you are .

I think it's lovely that he has been in touch after all this time :))

Thanks Marion, we have a school reunion coming up in September and if the others have been anything to go by, it will be good fun. Usually at least 50 or more people turn up, even the teachers altho some of them have popped their clogs now.
I did one once, early on, and 150 people came, it was amazing, I was on a high all night!

I was contacted by a lad I went all through school with just before christmas on facebook, was lovely to get in touch with and have spoken most days since. The bit that shocked me was he said I was very quiet in school where I thought I had always been a bit mad lol, looking back though I can remember I was actually quiet in junior school it wasnt till secondry school did I start to find my feet a bit. But bless him he was always very protective of me and im glad we are back in touch.

Oh that's nice Jax. I am in touch with lots of old school friends as I started the reunions more than 20 years ago, put a bit in the paper and it went from there and then lots of other schools copied us.

Well,Liz, me too, found my first boyfriend/love online about 8 years ago, he will always have a special place in my heart. Unbelievably we are both this side of the pond now but thousands of miles apart. I would know the eyes anywhere, grey hair can be quite deceiving, there beats a heart underneath . . . .we have been in touch off and on for about 58years, kept missing that 'moment of opportunity'.
Life does go on, there's not a fairytale ending for everyone, but that deep connection remains.
