No Muffy, our bath was one of those galvanised ones that hung on a nail outside the house........come to think of it, I think it would have been small for an adult......maybe they just had a stand up wash..... |

we had a tin bath and really there was no room in it for more than one - anyway, as the water had to be heated up in the gas boiler first, youngest [me] got in first, followed by Mum and then Dad. Never once saw Mum or Dad undressed and thinking back on it, apart from pictures in the National Geographic magazine [usually of natives in the jungle somewhere!!] the male body was an absolute mystery to me until I got married!! |

When I was a kid, bath night was always on Sunday, yup - once a week, whether we needed it or not. lol |

I think we had baths with Dad and i remember Mum calling wither my sis or I up to scrub her back but her bath was her time. |

We had a brand new council house from when I was 2 so always had a bathroom, but I think I remember being bathed in a big round enamel bowl/bath when I was small, in front of the fire. We didn't have central heating till I was 15. |
