I love the programme but just saw Eat or Heat was on MORE 4 so watching that instead as missed it before, GD will probably repeat this prog.

Kevin McCloud lives near me (well, a few miles away, not in the next road or anything lol!).

The white box last week was horrible, but when we were last in Bournemouth we looked at that penthouse from the outside and the view is absolutely stunning.

They have a 250 grand budget...

I can't see them coming in on budget... I have just spent a fortune on refurbish and extension...nothing like that and have run out of dosh.
If they do it they are fibbing.. with all those gargoyles and fireplaces and stuff

LOL Tina, I think he's a right old misery too! Would be nice if he cracked a smile now and again.

I know you have to have budgets and try to keep costs down wherever possible, but it's false economy to do without a project manager when you've never done the job yourself. The wife has made loads of costly mistakes with the roof and the windows.
