I am taking a break from here. How long that will be I do not know.

After another sleepless night worrying whether everyone is safe from the recent trojan attack I am starting to feel exhausted and tottally bemused with the way higher management are dealing with the situation. It is not sufficiant to send out a fob off mail, neither is it good customer relations. Higher management should have helped from the start instead of denial of a serious situation.
I am afraid my trust has gone.

Colin - l am so sorry you are feeling this way. Everyone has been treated very badly. l'm a lucky one in that you & Errol sorted me out and everything is fine.
You, Errol, Steve and others atleast need some sort of thanks, acknowledgement for all the hard work you have put in - let alone the millions of people registered on here who could have or have had their computers infected, some people at their wits end with worry!!!!

The whole thing is a disgrace and it should be acknowledged!!

Colin mate it aint worth the worry honest, you and Errol did what you could and perhaps prevented a lot of the unseen ones becoming infected

so be proud of that what ever the rights or wrongs of GRs management style it seems the problem has now gone

have a week off and relax then come back

I agree with Jude one thing I would like to had here is shame on you genes reunited.
Why should such a wonderful person feel that they need a break when all you have done is help all of us in fact you have been doing their job for them . I am too wound up at the moment.

I certainly hope the past few days havint damaged the reputation of the site for potiential future customers,,

GR cant be held responsible for what apparently happened here from outside forces,,,,,,*****,,but they are responsible for the lack of comunication & assurance for its paying and none paying customers ,,,,,and only those it seems who made contact with the site appear are privlaged to an explanation of the cause and what the status of the site is now,,there are litterally thousands who come on this site and each and everyone unsuspecting was laid wide open to have their security and equipment invaded had they followed the screen instructions that was apparently coming from a BLUE CHIP site,,,,,,,,*****

****** Maybe GR should have closed down the site put up a till further notice sign,,that way we would have known they were acting in everyones best intrest,,,,,,,,,,*****

I have got this trogan thing, i can't get rid of it either and more than likely running my computor into the ground by using it.
Its not down to people like Colin,Errol and the other people, who have tried their up most to help others, when the people to blame are just taking the money, dont seem to give a dam and above aren't aren't even taking the blame!!!

Maybe a few emails to watch dog might help out here!

Come back here now. If it hadnt been for you, Errol and Steve, many of us would have left and not come back.

GR should have fully explained the situation to all members by sending out an email. They sell the advertising space on here for profit and its irrespective how the adverts end up on here, GR have a duty of care, legally and morally to us, as paying members.

As usual and certainly not surprisingly they have reneged on their responsibilites.

It should never have been left to members to sort this situation out.

So sorry to hear about all this. And angry with GR for not responding.

Can you answer a question for me please? I keep getting a Security Alert, saying Access has been denied.

At the bottom of my screen is a little eye with a No Entry sign. When I click on this, it seems that something from Friends Reunited has been blocked.

Has this anything to do with the Trojan? Or is this something else?
