I stayed off these boards for a long time because of upset between members and kept pooping back onto the site to see how things were going as and when I had the time ........

Now it's starting again ..........

Somebody reported me for having the sponsorship thread for breast cancer on and GR removed it and sent me an e-mail telling me it was abusive and that the thread had been removed due to being reported and that it wouldn't be reinstated ........

I have e-mailed GR apologizing for apparantly breeching terms and Cons and explained I'm not a malicious, abusive or agressive person ........ and asked them to enlighten me what the problem was ............ I still have heard nothing ...........

I do not like Trouble and have had a few troubles of my own this last couple of weeks ............

So there is somebody out to cause trouble for everybody ....... and I don't want no part of it .............

Don't worry honey!

I know you have a few little problems but there's an easy solution - just don't answer those who are being provocative!

It really works and anyway, we like your company, don't deprive us of it!

how can anyone be sad enough to report a Breast cancer fundraising thread, it affects so many lives.

Dont let them make you stay away you have as much right s anyone to be here.

Unfortunately Dawn they did and it wasn't just my thread either ... somebody elses got pulled too for the same thing ..........

what a malicious thing to do, reporting a thread asking for sponsorship. I hope they can live with themselves! dont stay away, these boards are usually so full of love and laughter.

Night mate...perhaps GR need to sit back and have a very close look at themselves and examine what they pull any why

TJ........please try not to let it get you down, every couple of weeks or so we get upsets on the boards......it has been this way even before I joined in Sept. 2005.......it seems to be part of the system now, and I have the feeling that some people actually enjoy the upsets........goodness knows why, but there you go.....

Just keep posting, and if the thread is pulled, maybe its because GR are pulling the threads and not just the individual postings......x

That one is bizarre. Before I saw that there was a thread about the sponsorship site, I had posted a link to it myself in a thread about mammograms.

I'd be curious exactly what rule it broke.

Maybe I'll post a link to the site where you can donate bowls of rice for the hungry world by clicking, and see what happens ...

when I did a fundraising thread on here for all members in aid of members that were doing the sahara trek it kept being pulled, we kept making different headings for it and whoever kept asking for it to be deleted didnt win as we raised a few hundred for them.

PM with what it was as didnt see it.

I do that one Kathryn, as well as the Breast Cancer site for mammograms

I feel a bit of a fraud though as I have never bought anything from the breast ca site.

I wanted men's polo shirts with the "Mother, sister,daughter, etc on it but they did not do them.

I know my brothers would be really proud to wear them especially as we have an aunt affected at the moment.

Makes me want to do my own but I think they might object as I am sure they have copyrighted it!

TJ don't go.................just carry on and shrug it off and hold your head high, you where doing a great thing by promoting breast cancer and the fight against it

The thread was asking for people to click on the a certain website to sponsor Tinfields doing the race for life in aid of breast cancer .............

So if you would still like to sponsor her please either pm her direct asking for the link address or pm me and I will get it for you

But I have to admit it was a very mean thing to do !!

Some people are very mean TJ, I was also told that my thread which I did to help was removed because it was abusive.

Many thanks for your continued support with my fundraising attempts. As you all know it was never meant to cause upset. I
have also contacted Genes in the hope that my thread can be reinstated.

TJ, please don't leave the boards, the vast majority of members support the fund raising.

This post is not...and I repeat NOT an attack on anyone...

For the love of God!... Can we not get on together...??

There is so much unhappiness and ill feeling in this world...!!

There are so many needy and ill people out there that need our support and love...

Instead of argueing over sh**e we should give thanks to God for being alive and having food on our table and a bed to sleep in...

Just maybe we should try walking a mile in someone eles's shoes..and maybe someone out there will rub our feet..
