I don't understand your last comments, sorry. The spelling of Marjorie/Margery is a reasonable mixup, and the marriage record I found was Margery F (for Florence), which is the same as you listed above, mmn Reiger. She was born 1914, so 2 years younger than Norman.

If I've got the right death record for Marjorie Baxter (relating to the probate record you found) , it gives Marjorie's DOB as 24 August 1904.

Not the same person as Margery Corrall.

There is no recorded marriage for Norman E Baxter to anyone named Marjorie in England/Wales

Buying a copy of the woman's Will may prove informative************.

The spelling on the electoral rolls was wrong, she was in fact Margery F Corrall. In 1937 she is in Camden with her parents, again recorded as Marjorie.

If Marjorie Baxter, also known as Allanson, who died in 1971, is the correct woman, she was born in 1904.

If Margery Florence Corrall is the correct one, she was born 1914 and died 1992.

We don't know which one (if either) was living with Norman in 1960.

The 1992 death cert would, hopefully , give you the husband's full name.
OR
The Will of Marjorie Baxter/Allanson might provide clues.

The 1967 marriage cert would give you the groom's full name.

I think Margery Corrall is the more likely of the two, bearing in mind that Norman was born in 1912, I've been tracking the electoral registers for the two of them, and by the late 1940s they were less than 3 miles apart.

Your friend needs the 1967 marriage cert to be sure.

There were other Norman E Baxters born in a reasonable time-frame - including one in Hampstead.
Any one of them could have been Margery Corrall's husband, for all we know.

I would doubt very much that the Corrall woman is the one referred to in the Probate record.

As previously suggested, getting a copy of the Will would make eminent sense

Don’t take any notice of any potential age difference between Norman and any woman he lived with………if the Probate figures are accurate, she was quite well off.

The record you posted at 16.07 has exactly the same DoB info as on the record posted by AG, so I’m puzzled by your comment at the end of the post

Erika, I confused the date of death with one Marjory with the date of birth of the other, ie September with August, my mistake. We have already decided that the one with the Will is not ours.

ArgyllGran, Norman was stated as 25 in 1937, so most of the ones you listed must be too young to be the one I'm looking for. I think only the 1919 one could be a possibility, but then he'd only have been 18 in 1937. But I'll see if I can find any details, such as father's name, to see if he can be eliminated.

The other Norman E Baxter births which I posted today were only to show that there are others of the same name who might be Margery Corrall's husband.
You need the 1967 marriage cert to be sure of who she married.
We don't know what her husband's middle name was.
The child born in 1919 (which you mentioned) had the middle name Ewart, as already posted..

There's no reason, as far as I can see, necessarily to discount Marjorie Baxter/Allanson.

There is no way to tell if she is (or isn't) the woman who was living with a man named Norman E Baxter (who may or may not be Norman Edwin) per 1960 and 1963 ERs -
apart from getting a copy of her Will, to see if it contains any clues.

On what factual basis have you discounted the Allanson/Baxter woman?

My friend will order the 1967 marriage certificate as soon as she can, I don’t think we can get any further until that arrives.

I have been looking at Norman Ewart Baxter, born 1919 Hartlepool, and found a death record also 1919, age 0. I also found another tree on Ancestry with him on it, showing born and died 1919.
