The closed records are people who were born in the last 100 years and are possibly still living. In the above that's possibly Ronald and Marion. I think the records were updated in the 90s and are still being updated where a matching death has been found.

Still looking for a marriage and not seeing an obvious one but maybe Alice had been married and widowed and so married Benjamin using a different surname.

Alice had only one forename. Wallen is the MMN

As ErikaH has said, Alice had no middle name. The "Wallen" is Alice's Mum's maiden surname. At present, I am not seeing a marriage for Timothy Burke and Mary Wallen.

It looks likely that Sarah Wallen is Mary's mother (Alice's grandmother). I'll see if I can find Mary with her Mother and siblings on an earlier census.
