Yep she is not a child but you could try the standard I am looking for a rellie with a name like yours & go from there.
NORCAP may be able to give you some general advice
as to how to approach the situation.

mmm a tuff one,but maybe you could send email to ask if she knows who her father is,and you found her address while you were researching but was'nt sure how or if she fitted into the family.

A little addon to Jeanette 16 jan

I spent 3 months trying to trace what I thought was my only living relly that I hadnt seen for 40 years .
I came across a link on ancestry and sent msg .
They do it anonymously direct to other party's email addy .All either of you know is the 2 names used on site .
I was lucky , got a reply and 1st line was" if u r son of (parents names)"
