WALTER TICKNER. HELLO FELLOW TICKNERS. I*M HOPING TO CONTACT ANY TICKNERS FROM SOUTH WALES WHO MAYBE RELATED ,NEARLY ALL MY RELATIONS CAME FROM THE TAFF WELLS AREA OF WALES AFTER LEAVING LONDON MY GRANDFATHERS NAME WAS FREDERICK WILLIAM TICKNER wife AMELIA ELLEN MATILDA TICKNER.neeWATSON.MY FATHERS NAME WAS ,ALFRED WILLIAM GEORGE TICKNER .I HAVE*NT MUCH OF A TREE BUT I*LL SHARE ANY INFO WITH YOU

I think there may be a link here, as the names you have mentioned and the areas are correct. You seem to have more details of middle names but frederick tickner was my great great grandfather.

iam from south wales my father was william arthur tickner born 29 jan 1930 in carmathen in wales my grandfather is arthur tickner born 5 may 1893 in norbiton kingston surrey illigitimite son of maria spriggs maiden name tickner born 1868 st mary cray kent daughter of frederick tickner and esther tickner maiden name ogden :-)
