the info from the birth and marriage cert seems to indicate that lily annie maria douch is the same person. she used lily annie on some birth records and annie maria on others but the marriage says lilly annie maria i know from family that tom mary charity and albert and i was told rose had the same parents henry and annie but we did not know about the child henry. my grandad lost his memory along time ago and his siblings all moved away and had there own familys hence lost touch. my mum and siblings do not know alot about there dads parents hence the family tree. no one told me it would lead to so much confussion

hi everyone
it seems that lily annie m douch who married john hunt in 1900 then went to stay with her mum and sister in 1901 and also found her with henry in 1901 plus son henry. but she then had 3 more children with henry but did not marry him until 1916. the reference to another child in 1914 i also found but this means she must have left henry and returned to john and then may be henry found a new wife the ripley surname for rose light but i cant find any more on this and its a shame records stop at 1901 as i cant trace if this is true or me making the best of the info. i could not find any death entres for john henry or lily annie?

i don't understand why his first name is not given and to find it you must put in Douch first. I am going to try a few more sites.

yes my grandads birth cert says his mums name is annie m douch. but the marriage cert to my grandads dad says lily annie maria douch. i have found out that lily annie m also married a john hunt in 1900 and married henry light in 1916who is my grandads dad my grandad albert light was born in 1913. have traced a child henry light born 1900 mary born 1911 charity b1920 but having trouble with tom light who was born in 1910 i can only find a tom light born in 1915 and rose light i have found a birth record for but it says mums name ripley? so unless henry light also married more than once this cant be right i have tryed to find another marriage for henry light but cant find one. i know rose married fred and they lived in hastings but cant find any more info

i am trying to find out anything on fred sargent. he married my grandads sister called rose light she was born in march 1920 in horsham sussex. would love to be able to find a marriage record for them. have been told they had a daughter called sylvia who was born some time after 1938 but i cant find anything on her i seem to be hitting a brick wall. i found a birth record for a rose light born in march qtr 1921 horsham 2b 519 but it has the mums name as ripley and it should be douch? as i am pressuming her mum was lily annie maria douch who married henry light in 1916. any help would be great lorraine
