I was wondering if that Samuel was a son of Robert Pinkett & Elizabeth Glover and that's how he ended up as a nephew in the Glover household. Then I looked at his dob. Duh! Margaret!

Hi Margaret, Robert is a great nephew to George, 1778, his grandfather James and George were brothers.

Plus this raises the question of the Glover name??
How is Samuel Pinkett connected to the Glover family?
If he is a nephew that would mean Mary Glover was a Pinkett and I do not have a marriage or Mary to fit??

I do have some christenings, marriages and deaths from the local family history centre. Nothing though on my John Pinkett about 1743?
he married Mary Oldham in 1768 and I think he had a brother James who married Sarah Street!
Do you have anything on a James Pinkett marrying Jane Sprey and who their children are? I have done it on IGI but nothing conclusive yet!
I think these are the parents of John and James!

How does Robert Pinkett 1824 son of Thomas 1794 fit into the family? They're on the 51 census both born Bulwell along with Ann 1826, sister of Robert and Elizabeth 1766, mother of Thomas. Thomas is a Chelsea pensioner of the Royal Artillery.
Robert Pinkett and Elizabeth Glover are on same page on Free BMD, marrying in 1861.
