Find Ancestors

Hi i am trying to find information on William hodder born sampford peverell/ tiverton area of devon, any census reports and who he married would be great, he had a son frank hodder born 1863 can find that birth but no census reports with that but can find a frank otter but there was actually a frank otter born that area in 1860 i have being trying to use ancestry tonight and cannot just put name in and search. have they changed the search or is it just my computer? Any help would be appreciated

the second ones with the name otter not sure if this could be them as there was a frank otter born 1860 in sampford peverell, i guess i just need to collate everything to gether and see where it all fits in
