You can search the IGI yourself for Richard and John see if they have the same parents, Its Free and fun to search:0)

have looked on there but cant find john birth in 1784 and doesnt say hungerton so may have been born elsewhere

You could have a look at the actual parish records at the county records office and see who the witnesses were at the marriage. You might be lucky and find that John's brother was a witness.

Other than that I don't know how you can find out other than going through the parish records to find both baptisms, to see who the parents were.
