Can anybody help me find any info on James Mcgowan
all I have been able to find is that he and his wife Mary (nee Woods) my great grandparentd gave birth to a boy called George Alma 1874 in Bradford West Yorkshire George was then adopted by a family called Pimley later that same year. I have found what I believe is, reg of death for Mary in 1874 but I cant find out James's age a marriage or birth cert would give me this and kick start my search again. It is thought that James came from Scotland But I.m not convinced about that
