Can anybody help me find any info on James Mcgowan
all I have been able to find is that he and his wife Mary (nee Woods) my great grandparentd gave birth to a boy called George Alma 1874 in Bradford West Yorkshire George was then adopted by a family called Pimley later that same year. I have found what I believe is, reg of death for Mary in 1874 but I cant find out James's age a marriage or birth cert would give me this and kick start my search again. It is thought that James came from Scotland But I.m not convinced about that

If you are hoping for help, you will need to say where these people might have lived.
