Charlie Hawkins lived at Tracebridge Whipples farm Devon/Somerset does anyone have any information regarding Charlie date of birth brothers and sisters.

Can you give a bit more info? When did Charlie live at Whipples Farm?

Thanks for responding sorry to be a bit vague about 1920 - 1950 ish he is my great great grandfather had three children joyce (my nan) Percy and Doreen i dont know when charlie was born but it may be around that area or holcombe rogus he had 15 brothers and sisters in total so i am told can you help? would be much appreciated

I think you will need to work backwards on this. Do you have your nan's birth cert? This will give you her mother's maiden name then you can look for your great grandparents marriage, which will give you their ages and both father's names. Then you will probably be back to the 1901 and earlier censuses.

If you don't have your nan's cert, do you know her date of birth?

All i know is the 4th of January, she passed away in June 1991 at approx 65 years old so i can only guess here date of birth is about 1925-1926

i have been told my nan was actually born at whipples farm at Tracebridge parish register could be either clayhanger, ashbrittle or bampton

I used ancestry.

I typed in Joyce and looked for one's who died in 1991 and were born 4th Jan.

If you buy the marriage cert you will ages and father's names and occupations to try and trace them in 1901.
