You say its with a K not N. I have tried on the census but cannot find any matches with K. Also tried Knicholls.You must be correct as you have all the childrens names and birth dates. When did it change to Nicholls. ..Linda

Hi Linda

What has happened there is, when who ever was transcribing them they mis took the N for a K

So no worries they are Nicholls


Still couldn't find a Marriage for Arthur and Jane, So really think it's best to get 1 of the childrens B/C for Janes maiden name
