Can find no Marriage for Arthur to a Jane, nor are they coming up on the 1891 or 1901 census

I think it's best to get 1 of the childrens B/C for Mothers maiden name

I looked on G R census last week didnt take note of her birth place.I Havnt any credits left to search again...Linda

As yet no proof that Arthur's wife was Jane.

I agree with Julie. You need to obtain one of the children's birth certs to be sure.

The info on 1891 census is the nearest that can be found and much of it ties up (except for wife's name) and I don't think you can discount it without obtaining the necessary documentation.

Just looked at the 1901 on line, thou you can't see the image you need credits Jane was born in Borough.

Yes that is Arthurs parents, cos also saw the Arthurs middle name was a G

So Arthur born 1862 parents were Henry & Jane
