Please could anyone give me details of a Mary Cotterell/Cottrell/Cottrill born c.1843 in Stretford, father George, a labourer. Have had no succes with birth certificates so far. Rosemary(Chelmsford) |

Hi Rosemary, on lancashirebmd there is birth of mary cottrill at Stretford 1841.You can download application form from the site and money will be returned if father and occupation do not match.(at least I think this happens,it does with cheshirebmd) John |

Many thanks John, I tried LancsBMD. (I think it is brilliant especially if you are searching for a marriage as it gives both parties). I started at 1842, going by dates from various censuses, and Mary's death certificate. She has been a very elusive lady! I will go back and order this certificate Thanks again Rosemary(Chelmsford) |
