I'm free to do Ancestry UK look-ups again. Includes Pallotts Marriage Index (before 1837), 1871 & 1891 census', Civil Reg Index (1837 - 1983 but tends to stop just after 1900's) and the Death Indexes 1984 - 2002. Please give as much info as possible and you can e-mail me direct. Please be aware doesn't really cover Ireland and Scotland. Laurie

Hi Laurie I am looking for the marriage of Joseph Culver and Emma Norman, 1890 in Finchley I think (reg. Barnet)and have found them on the Free BMD, but have not been able to send for a certificate yet. I think I know the fathers but need to check. Are you able to look up parish records on Ancestry? Thanks,Lisa

Laurie Report 19 Mar 2004 11:12

Hi Lisa, The marriage listing for Joseph doesn't give a partners name. I searched for Emma and her father but nothing. Was hoping to find them on the 1871. They might be on the 1881. Laurie
