LDS Site cannot access today - is it me????

Hi all, Is it my comp. I cannot access the LDS site to look on 1881 Census and IGI. Is it me or is site down. Has the site changed? since a few weeks ago. Many thanks, Sandra |

I often have trouble accessing the 1881 Census but seem to have got round it by putting name and approx. birthdate on All Resources instead. That usually brings up some from the Census and I take it from there! Not ideal I agree but worth a try if you are in trouble!! Hazel |

I have noticed that some sites are not compatible with certain firewalls. Everytime I used the FreeBMD I had to disable my firewall. |

I have been trying on and off all day since 8.15 this morning - all I get is "can't find server". I have rebooted twice - still nothing - it does seem a long time to be down, but nothing has changed on my pc. Gaynor |

Hi All I am having the same problem, getting page cannot be displayed. I have been trying since Saturday to get onto the site without any luck. I have restarted my computer, emptied my cookies, dont know what else to try but am getting really frustrated now. I know that this website sometimes does this when it is overloaded with users, but cannot understand why the LDS would be like it for 3 days in a row. Maybe if one of the people that can actually get onto the site could contact them on behalf of us people that cant to ask them why, we might find out what is going on. Regards Sharon |
