Jane, Sorry no Roberts or Johns listed. James Hancock has 3 entries...the one that seems closest to your request is..from 1891 census... James Hancock - Age 40 - Old Cumnock, Ayr Living with (presumably his wife) - Margret Hancock - Age 35 Debi, I'm afraid your search turns up too many results, I am down to my last credit and there were 3 pages for all the Mckenzies in uphall. I did try to investigate further by just doing a normal search on the names you gave me. You can also check this out as you don't need to pay to do the basic search...If you search for a Donald with an age born in 1890 there is 0 records and there are also 0 records for a Helen... So I did a check for James and this is what you get.. From 1891 census.. James McKenzie - Aged 26 James McKenzie - Aged 17 From 1901 census.. James McKenzie - Aged 36 James McKenzie - Aged 27 James McKenzie - Aged 4 Thats all I got....and the credits are now up !

Hi Gloria, Not so sure about this one but I will tell you what I have.. Catherine..there are 2 entries 1. Age - 58 Place - St.Rollox, Lanark 2. Age - 25 Place - Hutchesontown,Lanark There are no James's in these same places.. The James's I have are as follows: 1. Age 36 - Place - St.Quivox,Ayr 2. Age 33 - Place - Old Cumnock,Ayr 3. Age 30 - Place - Riccarton,Ayr 4. Age 31 - Place - Bothwell,Lanark 5. Age 39 - Place - St.Rollox,Lanark 6. Age 36 - Place - St.Rollox, Lanark 7. Age 31 - Place - Crichton, Midlothian The James in Old Cumnock is living in the same house as a Mary McKerrow - Age 48...I don't have enough credit to view the film but they are listed with the same GROS Data no. which I assume means they are in the same household.. The James in Bothwell, Lanark is living with what looks like his wife, Helen (age 30) plus 5 kids aged between 1 and 11 Not sure any of the above is much help for you....if you think any of the other James's might be yours let me know...i still have a couple of credits left and I could look one of them up..

Thanks for that. I was expecting James Dickson McKerrow to have been there with wife Catherine. If you would like to find them for me. James was born 1867.His wife died in 1901 shortly after giving birth. So maybe you could find the others in that household. Thanks Gloria
