1881 census info please on VINALL

I have checked 1881 census on line but have not been able to find any info on George Francis Vinall born 1880. His father was Frederick Vinall. When he had children they were all born in Dartford, Kent area. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Chris |

I can find several families of Vinall on 1881 but none which appear to be the right one. Email me if you want the 1891 image. Thing is Chris if he was only 19 in 1901 I doubt he would be on 1881 census, think he might have just missed it so you would just now be looking for his parents. I think! Gen |

Hi Gen This is confused from Bexley. I have his birth date as 1880. But he was a Soldier. The age you give would make him born 1882. Jools info looks good but I had Georges father as Frederick. But again that was info given to me by a rellie. Also interestingly George called his first daughter Maud Milton. Now totally confused from Bexley Chris |

Christine, You should order his marriage certificate to confirm who his father was. How do you know he was born in 1880? Always take the memories of relatives with a pinch of salt. I have a relative who was supposed to be called Dot. I finally tracked her down and she was Florrie. Crista |

Just to add a little more possible confusion, 1891 has a Frederick George Vinall born Brighton, Sussex age 12 who is in the home for orphan boys at 46/48 Buckingham Rd, Brighton Source information: RG12/811 Registration district: Brighton Sub registration district: St Peter ED, institution, or vessel: 41 Folio: 18 Page: 29 There are various Vinall families on 1881 (at least 2 T Wells area), but George appears to be the only one born in France.
