Hi Elaine: Did you want to come over here due to our weather? Not quite sure why you want to visit, but we are having lovely weather at the moment, if that's the reason. Actually, during most moments -- we don't have season changes around here, just warm or cool, wet or dry. :~) Anyway, thank you very much for looking for the Grice's, I really appreciate it. Thank you for telling me about the other names; you never know what might happen in the future. Wish you luck with your research.

Anne, Sorry, again no joy. Nearest find was: Thomas Bannister = Hannah Burgess 8 November 1752 Prestbury by Banns. Thomas Bannister (Occ Farmer) = Ann Hurlbut 9 November 1779 by Banns. Sorry, I haven't found anyone anything yet :-( Elaine :-)

Lisa J in California ... please can I come to your house !!! LoL Sorry, no William Grise. Nearest I could find for you was: Eleanor Grise = William Hallows 3 January 1763 Frodsham by License. Ellen Grise = John Dutton 10 February 1609, Eastham.By Lic. Witnesses= George Cattrel, Eliz Miller & John Peers. Not what you wanted but they may come in handy at some point. Elaine :-)

Hi Elaine, does your index include Stockport? If it does could you please look for Thomas Bannister married Esther about 1830s. Any help much appreciated as I am really stuck with this lot! regards Anne.

Hi Elaine: I'm looking for William Grice (b 1774) marrying Mary Wright (b 1771), married 14-Nov-1793. Sorry, only have town, Frodsham, Cheshire (don't know the district). William is on the LDS but I'm trying to confirm the record is correct and hoping for witnesses. Thank you very much, off to work now, Lisa. PS Sorry you weren't able to find your family.

Hi Cheryl, Sorry, bad news, Only two entries for George Spencer, neither to an Ann/Annie and neither in any of the districts you mention ... nowhere near in time scale either. Way off. Sorry Elaine :-)

Hi Elaine Its only me again lol!!!!! Not looking for Atkins or Beech you'lll be relieved to know. I'm looking for the marriage of George Spencer to I think either Anne or Annie couldn't read census very well. They would have got married in either Acton, Nantwich,or Burland. Not sure of exact date but 1 of their Children John was born c1814 and I think he was the eldest. Hope you can help yet again Regards Cheryl

Hi Elaine, Shot in the dark here so don't spend much time on it, especially if not indexed. William Lamb of Tabley Cheshire married Jane X of Derbyshire. But was it in Cheshire or Derbyshire is the question. Thank you, Gordon

Hi Joyce, The only two Thomas Owens c 1820 are: Thomas Fox Owens = Ann Coleclough 3 April 1814 by Banns in Chester Holy Trinity Thomas Owens = Mary Much 13 May 1819 by Licence in Bidston. Witnesses = William Clark & Martha Much. Hope these help. Elaine :-)

Hi Elaine Please can you look for a marriage of Thomas Owens in Chester before 1820 sorry I don't know his wifes name but he had a son born 1820 in St Mary's Chester, I just hope there weren't to many Owens living in Chester. Kind regards Joyce
