Hi to those who now me, Unfortunately, the virus's that hit my PC tonight have killed it. I only have half of my Windows left ... the virus's ate the rest. I can't access my computer AT ALL. I have lost everything. My Family Tree is gone. Thank Goodness I sent away for certificates, as I may have a chance of rebuilding the main structure again. I have shed a few tears this last couple of hours I can tell you. My main e.mail address has gone, so until a later date I can NOT be contacted via GC. I HAVE NOW CHANGED MY E.MAIL ADDRESS, SO I CAN BE CONTACTED DIRECT. For those of you who knew about my Hot Male account then I can still be reached on that, as I have set that up here on my mates PC. ANYONE that I was in the middle of helping, please forgive me as I won't be able to continue the search for you, it could be at least a week before I can get my PC re formatted and all the programmes etc put back on and up and running again. Until the other day, I wasn't in a position to back up my PC. Then, when I had the chance I didn't do it. It's too late now. Please, if anyone can learn anything from my misfortune, PLEASE back up your PC / Family Tree as often as possible. Also, NEVER turn your Anti Virus and/or Firewalls OFF ... they are there for a reason. Elaine.
