Hi all, Lou is unfortunately NOT available to do Lookups on Ancestry for the next day or so, and has asked that I let you know she is NOT ignoring anyone who has posted a request on her thread, but just isn't at the PC. I'm sure that Lou herself will let it be know when she is available. In the meantime, if we could just give Lou and her family a little thought. I believe her little boy has come through what seems to be a successful operation and is now in Intensive Care. Elaine :-) on behalf of Lou |

Message from Lou after I let her know I'd posted the message and that you folks are sending best wishes: "Thanks for that. Thats lovely. Let them all know I really appreciate it and "Bumper" seems to be doing just great. Thats his new nickname after they weighed him pre op. No wonder my arms ache carrying him now XX" Other info: Lou has had a cuddle with him, although he is sedated and doesn't know she's there. XX Elaine :-) |

Hi Guys and Gals Thanks for all your messages of support, I can't tell you how much its been appreciated. Elaine's been passing them on by text! We're doing great...well, getting there anyway. Going to be a while till we can bring him home but the danger period has passed and they're going to 'bring him round' in the morning and see how he goes. For now, Daddy is spending the night with him and Mummy is having a bottle of wine and sweeties and hunting for more 'dead people' (I just couldn't face another night on a hospital camp bed so was delighted when Mark offered to stay!) Happy Christmas to All Love Lou xxxx |

Hi Lou I really hope that your baby is ok. I understand what you mean about sleeping in hospitals - they are not the best of places. I can relate to what you are going through, my son had his 11th operation 3 weeks ago and will have another in 4 weeks time. Good luck. Trish |

Hi All Was at the hospital this morning for 8am (!) and he's had a good night (well, he's sedated so hardly likely to be any trouble!). The docs are really happy with him and are planning to 'wake him up' later today. Mark's family have come up from Cheltenham this weekend to see him so I've come back home to give them some time with him and will go back later for when my little love comes round! Lou |
