Hi Leigh Think I've sorted out the problem....I've been following the wrong family. Ooops! Have only bought 1 cert though so not a major hassle! Still can't find him in 1901 though so any help appreciated. I have him on the 1891 census with parents and he's down as Ernest Turner 8 SON Rusholme, Lancashire The family are living in Chorlton. Got his parents and sibs on the 1901 but he isn't with them. He didn't marry till 1904 so would have expected him to be with family and the other piece of info that has just been passed my way is that his parents actually didn't marry till 3 years after his birth and he was actually born Ernest Turner KIRKHAM!
