vanessa rich hi vanessa rich i found thomas tam on the 1891 census age 38 born forcett yorkshire living in staindrop durham with his wife elanor tam age 38 born in caldwell yorkshire with his family , i then looked for thomas and helen on the census but no joy , i looked for a marriage of helen carter and thomas and found none , i found the following marriage for helen carter not sure if this will help you alexander walter caley married june 1872 east riding of yorkshire malton north riding helen carter june marriage 1872 east riding of yorkshire malton north riding robert mitchell june marriage 1872 june marriage east riding of yorkshire malton north riding i am not sure which one she married but i can not find a marriage of thomas and helen carter best wishes donna

Hi thanks for the offer. Im looking for a Peter (Mc)Cawley in 1871, born in Ireland. Age abt 60-65. I think he was in Cheshire at that time I've found 2 sons so far, Peter & Bernard. Bernard married Ann McHugh & I have Peter Jnr records for 1871 but not Peter Snr (or Bernard.) Bernard also had a son born 1864 called Peter Henry McCawley who was born in Sale, Cheshire. Hi Donna, Can you help me please as I am confused with this, In the 1881 census Thomas Tarn b 1852 m 1872 to Helen Carter b 1852. In 1891 census the same Thomas Tarn is married to Eleanor but no mention of what happened to Helen. Can you find anything out about them please.. Vanessa.
