Thankyou for that info, Jess. Is there any chance that I could get the image for that entry just so I can keep it on file as they seem to be a very elusive family. Many thanks, Ben. |

Sorry Ben, I have not managed to find any likely matches for all 3 of them. It seems likely they moved out of london but strange I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere. If you are pretty sure of her birth place and year I would buy the certificate. You will then know her mother's maiden name and have the address where they lived, also her father's occupation which may have changed. You might at least be able to find her parents on an earlier census and mum may be easier to find on the 1901. Sorry i have not been much help. someone else may just strike lucky for you though so don't give up! Alice |

hello again Ben sorry i have searched all the likely elizabeth marys in london - none of them seem to have a father John. i wonder if they moved out to a mining community - seems an odd occupation for a man in London. I will look in County drham for her on the 1901 Alice |
