Fiona Not sure although I do have her on 1891 as a Widow still a Gravestock living with her son Thomas. Having trouble on 1881 with them as well, think have her daughter Emma transcribed on 1881 as Breed instead of Read living in Hitchin, but can't find her son Thomas or Eliza. Will keep plodding away though. Thanks for your help |

Yes jess wife Eliza Read she had two children before the marriage and on 1871 they are transcribed as Rend. Oh Jess just seen the other male on those marriages sorry but just made me chuckle. |

Had to give the this that I found. Rachel dies 1877 and it looks like Benjamin wasted no time!!! Married Harriet Smith before the end of the year!! Jess Don't know much about the area only what mum tells me, still have rellies in Harpenden and I can still picture the road my grandad lived in and his front room. Mum got married in Harpenden and still goes to visit the graves there. Her gran is buried in St Albans I think. |

Joshua's mum died in 1877 and his father by 1881 census was married again to a Harriett. He died in 1900 by the looks of things.
