Find Ancestors

Hello, my name is Tina,I live in Italy and am trying to find my two daughters Anna Albanese and Louise Ivy Simpson. I've been doing some searches, and i've had the kind help of a member here too, but i'm now stuk up as i cannot go any further with my searches because if i have to look up on an electoral roll apart from registering i have to pay a fee to do one search...and to be onest i'm a bit low on money....i've done all i can, i looked up on 192.com....but then you have to pay...i took a look on Tracesmart.co.uk...and there are some with the names am looking for but...you have to pay at least 30 pounds to register and see the details....is there any one that can do o knows how to do this kind of searches for free? If so, can you help me please??? Thank you all. Tina

hello Laura, they birth date are Anna's: 16/7/1975, Louise: 18/7/1977, a friend gave me some help and looked up if they gor married bit there is no Louise I Simpson married, there is A louise Simpson married with a sorten John Dolan but i cannot find the address...of Anna instead....nothing....can you help me? I forgot to say that Simpson is the surname of Louise and Albanese is Anna's surname. no unfurtunatelly i dont know were they are,,, :-((( Tina

There are people on this site with current electoral roll lists - maybe of some use? How long have you been apart? Do you know where they were at any given time? this would probably help jess x

i last knew were they were in 1985,after i told to a surten mr williams ( social worker ) that i would not give them in adoption!!! and they were in the area that i told you. After that...they disappared..., What is FR? i serched 192, am on friends reunited, on findaparentorachild...i looked up b4usearch...i tryed the electorall roll but nothing....

There are 2 Anna Albanese on the eletoral role but i dont have access to them maybe someone else has

Sorry FR is friends reunited, but you have already tried that. Sorry i have no idea what to suggest- you seem to be doing the right things and only hope that in time they get in touch. It might be good to write to the social services dept which was involved and explain your desire to make contact with them. Presumably they were not given for adoption against your will (as decided by the courts or anything?) jess

I've allready written to the social services, and called them on the phone...but seems that all record regarding Anna and Louise have...disappared....no one knows nothing....and no one tells me what to do...the only thing they told me to do was to get in touch with the norcap agency...i did....i paid....no results!!! So am carring on on my own...as i've done for years now...and maybe here i will surely get more help that they've given me. Thanks anyway jess. Tina xx

The big problem is, not knowing if they were adopted without your consent (which depending on your circumstances they may have been ) and if so may have completely different names and may not even know their own 'proper names' names- would they have been old enough not to have been given new names? (no abandoning you -going to watch tv for and hour, will be back) jess

Hi again Tina, you could put an advert in the local paper for their last known area of address, asking them to get in touch. Someone locally may recognise the names.

Have you tried asking Derek Corkindale on the tips board as he has access to some Electoral roles Deborah

Hello jess, sorry if i went off last knight, but had a problem with my pc. Dont know if the'd been adopted, i thought they could not do it without my consense. Hope it's not like that!...they were 8 and 10 year old when i lost traces of them. Hope that i still can do something to find them. Tina xx
